With that and the fact that he talks to her roughly at the beginning, it’s no wonder the MC is scared of him at first! There are even rumors that he hangs out with gangsters and extorts money from people. However, the MC quickly sees that he’s still the same Ryuzo. He’s a year older than the rest of the group, so he still tries to take care of everyone. He’s also got a strong sense of responsibility, so he’s either at school or helping out at the store. Ryuzo’s route can be pretty serious at times, but it’s also a lot of fun at times. There are a few more story lines going on besides their slowly developing relationship too. The seemingly western take on a very much Japanese thing, is actually a refreshing one. I like that the MC has a strong sense of justice, and she stands up for herself and others no matter what she has to deal with. What some may miss about the inventiveness in this film, is the simple. ![]()
